Hiap Seng expects the rising demand for fuels and chemicals in Asia and high crude oil prices to generate demand for upstream exploration and production as well as downstream support industries in oil-and-gas and petrochemical processing facilities, thus helping Shell Eastern Petroleum Pte Ltd to build its new lube oil blending plant (LOBP) and GTL Project in Marsiling Land Woodlands Singapore.
